A drafting example with a review step
Fictional, editorial illustration of the workflow, not a recorded AI response or legal advice. No real client details are used.
Selected context
A fictional client needs to supply a signed agreement and related correspondence before the next meeting. No names, case identifiers or confidential excerpts are needed for this example.
Request
“Draft a short, neutral email asking the client to send the signed agreement and relevant correspondence before our next meeting. Do not add legal conclusions, dates or facts that I have not supplied.”
Illustrative draft
“Before our next meeting, please send the signed agreement and the correspondence relating to this matter, so that we can review the material together. Please let us know if any document is unavailable.”
Lawyer review
Check that the request matches the actual matter, choose an appropriate delivery method and add a meeting date only after confirming it. Remove unnecessary personal data and review the final text before sending it yourself.
This demonstrates drafting assistance. It does not establish access to a complete legal research database or guarantee correct citations. The prompt, supplied conversation history and chosen context are processed by the service and AI provider; use only information appropriate to that processing.
Drafting help within your daily workflow
The AI Assistant is part of the myLawOffice workspace. Describe the text you need and use the response as a draft to edit. It does not replace legal judgment or verification of sources.
Choose which case information to share
You can supply selected case context in the conversation. Check which information is necessary for the request before including it. The assistant receives the prompt, the history of that conversation and the context sent with it.
Review and save useful text
Check facts, names, wording and any legal references before using generated text. Useful texts can be saved as templates. You remain responsible for the final selection and form of the document.
What happens to data during AI processing
Using the assistant is optional and requires acceptance of the AI notice. Content you submit is sent in readable form to the service’s server and the AI provider, protected in transit. For this processing, the selected excerpts leave end-to-end encryption. Stored conversation history syncs in encrypted form.
Use the assistant for a specific task
Describe the type and purpose of the document, provide only the necessary context and review the response. The feature requires an internet connection and usage depends on your plan. The privacy policy explains processing by the provider.
