Publisher and scope
Published 19 October 2026 by Alpha Tech Solutions, the developer of myLawOffice. This is a vendor-authored selection guide, not an independent ranking.
Use the same scenario in every demonstration
Start with a fictional client and a case containing two sample files, a note and an appointment. Ask each provider to show the complete workflow using that same material. Do not upload real client data just to compare products.
- Create the client, open the case and find its files and notes again.
- Add a hearing or appointment and check how it connects to the case.
- For deadline calculation, choose a procedure you use and inspect the rule coverage, assumptions, sources and explanation.
- Disconnect the device and check which records and files remain available; reconnect and inspect synchronisation.
- If AI is needed, use the same short drafting request and check the result, review steps and submitted data.
- Export the example and confirm what can be read without the original application.
Compare the full cost and commitment
Ask for a written quote for the same number of users, storage requirement and billing period. A free tier, a time-limited trial and a paid monthly subscription are different offers. Annual prepayment should not be compared with a cancellable monthly price without explaining the commitment.
- Record the price before VAT, the VAT treatment and the amount actually payable.
- Check whether the charge is per user, per office or per device, and whether a minimum term applies.
- List storage, AI usage and any overage or integration costs separately.
- Confirm onboarding, data migration, cancellation and export conditions.
Ask who can read each category of information
Distinguish encrypted case content from account, billing and operational information. Ask who holds the recovery key, what happens if it is lost and how readable export works. Optional AI processing may have different data handling from ordinary storage.
- Ask what is sent to the AI provider: the request, history, attachments or selected excerpts.
- Confirm offline availability for the actual files you need, not only the list of case names.
- Request the privacy terms and support procedure before moving your archive.
Where myLawOffice fits
myLawOffice connects clients, cases, files, notes, calendar and supported deadlines, with apps for Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android. Offline work uses locally available data; optional AI requires internet and lawyer review. The current pricing section shows plan prices, VAT treatment, storage, AI limits and any trial offered.
Use the product demo and feature pages to check this fit. Confirm any required legal-research database, billing/myDATA workflow, third-party integration or automatic migration explicitly before subscribing; this guide does not promise those capabilities.
Contact Alpha Tech Solutions with your user count, existing file formats and the workflow you want demonstrated. Agree the support and migration scope before transferring a large archive.
